Off-platform payment is against the rules for everyone — it's what keeps the reviews real and the payment protection meaningful. Repeat bookings with your existing customers carry a lower rate, so staying on-platform stays rational.
Every vendor must be a registered Singapore business — we verify their UEN against ACRA BizFile before they can list anything — plus the licence their trade legally requires: NEA Cleaning Company Licence for cleaners, NEA competency for aircon work, PUB licence for plumbers, EMA licence for electricians. No papers, no listing. No exceptions, including for vendors we know personally. And no category opens with fewer than two independent vendors in it.
With our licensed payment partner — Quro never receives or holds your funds. It's released to the vendor after you sign off the job (or automatically 72 hours after the vendor marks it complete, so silence never traps anyone's pay). Open a dispute before then and the money stays put while we adjudicate. The exact partner arrangement is finalised with counsel before beta — we'll name it, in plain words, when it's signed.
More than 48 hours before the booking: full refund. Between 24–48 hours: partial refund. Under 24 hours: you're charged a capped call-out fee — never the full job price — because the vendor reserved the slot for you. If the vendor cancels or doesn't show, you always get a full refund, no questions.
Committing costs S$0 — it locks your estate's price for 6 months. There's no minimum group size, so the deal never collapses, and you pay the locked price only when you actually book your visit (with the usual payment protection). Never book? Nothing was charged.
At launch: nothing. The customer platform fee (S$2–5) is waived for founding members, and vendors pay 0% commission. When that changes, you'll hear it from us directly and loudly — never from a surprise line item.
